Jay James sings 'Skyfall' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Jay James sang 'Skyfall' on The X Factor UK Live Show 3 on October 25, 2014.

I've gone back and forth on Jay for the entire competition so far, but I thought this was mostly good. I kind of wish talent shows would stop giving this song to people, since it's such an unmistakably Adele song that just about anyone else who tries to sing it ends up paling in comparison. And that's not entirely fair to them, especially when there's any number of other songs Simon could have picked for Movie Week that Jay could have rearranged like he did last week with '500 Miles'. This was a good vocal, but it just didn't blow me away. Of course, I don't exactly expect him to be in any kind of trouble any time soon. The guy is super popular, to the point where I'd be surprised if he wasn't near the top of the vote every week.

But what do you think of Jay James?
