Jay James sings 'Fix You' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Jay James sang 'Fix You' on The X Factor UK 2014 Arena Auditions.

I imagine Jay is going to be a pretty divisive contestant, since most are either going to love his voice or hate it. Granted, I fall somewhere in the middle, as I like his vocal choices more than I like his actual voice itself. But I can't really deny that the man can sing. And I also can't deny that Jay has a remarkable capacity for emotional connection. He's that rare singer on a talent show who can engage with a song to such a degree that you could almost be forgiven for thinking he wrote it himself. Jay delivers every line as if it's tearing him apart inside, and that makes him compelling to watch.

But what do you think of Jay James?
