Jason Heerah sings 'Seven Nation Army' on The X Factor Australia 2014 (VIDEO)

Jason Heerah sang 'Seven Nation Army' on The X Factor Australia 2014 Live Show 6.

For some reason, whenever I hear this song on a show like this, I immediately groan. Not because it's a bad song, but because it just feels so overdone. Of course, I say that, yet I can't recall how often this song actually gets performed on these types of shows. I know Miguel Dakota did it recently on America's Got Talent, and I have vague memories of Garrett Gardner doing it on The Voice, but other than that, I have no idea where I'm getting the notion of this being overdone from other than my own cloudy imagination. But I digress...

Jason took this overdone-feeling song and absolutely slayed it. He's neck-and-neck with Marlisa for best performance of the week, in my opinion. This was just sensational, as his vocals are as impeccable as his drumming. It's crazy that the drumming doesn't suffer due to the singing, or vice-versa. He's a consummate performer, and I loved that he made such a straightforward take on the song feel so fresh.

But what did you think of Jason Heerah?
