Jason Aldean's Relationship With Brittany Kerr Develops; Defends Her On Instagram

Jason Aldean has been receiving bad press for his personal life ever since October 2012, when he was found to be acting inappropriately at a bar with Brittany Kerr, an American Idol alum. Married with two daughters, when caught he apologized and said that it was a one-time thing, he was way out of line, he was drunk, and that he went home alone.

That January Jason and his wife Jessica were reported to have separated, and a couple of months later Jason filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences". Recently it has been revealed that he and Brittany are now dating, but pictures emerging of them wearing the same clothes as that fateful night have emerged at a different location with other friends, implying that either they were hanging out and getting cosy before they went to the bar, or Jason didn't go home alone that night. That could mean it was a full-blown affair that was already established before he was caught by TMZ in 2012.

In addition, an Instagram account seeming to belong to Jason's ex-wife Jessica commented on a picture posted of Jason and Brittany looking happy together, said the following, "jessgirl_21 Had to comment....just sittin back watching God work......They have created there own mess .....lol....funny .....everyone does have an opinion....people still have morals too, but We know the truth....my kids do.....most importantly God does ... this was too funny....happiness isn't made from lies and destruction of innocent people......IDC...I know the whole truth! 20 yrs worth!! @brittanylkerr????????????????#dontcare#burnitdown". There's also a screenshot below.

And so the plot thickens. But the latest in this endless saga of Is-Jason-Aldean-An-Asshole (spoiler: yes, he is) is Brittany posting to Instagram (again, what is it with this social network?) about completing a make-up course, and a couple of users who aren't too happy with the new couple. One posted, "@jasonaldean you need to worry more about your kids school achievements and less about your side pieces. You should actually be ashamed of yourself rubbing this in their faces. Your daughters need your attention more than this whore. She's get enough attention all on her."

What makes this a story is that it appears from a screenshot (could be photoshopped, but it seems to come from his official account) that Jason sent a direct message to the girl who posted the comment, saying "Mind ur business my man. Worry about ur world and let me worry about mine."

Since when Jason was worried about what people on Instagram are saying is anybody's guess, but he has used it in the past to bitch about things that are getting on his nerves, such as Zac Brown calling out Luke Bryan's song 'That's My Kind of Night' as the worst song ever. So who knows, right?

What do you think? Is Jason guilty as sin, and should he stop playing out this scandal on social media?

PS: I owe everything I know in this article to the fabulous Shannon at Nashville Gab, who has previously posted about everything I've mentioned.
