Jason Aldean Dating Brittany Kerr, Woman He Cheated With
In fall 2012, around the time of the release of his fourth album Night Train, Jason Aldean was photographed getting up, close and personal with American Idol alum Brittany Kerr at a bar in West Hollywood.
At the time, he apologized profusely, saying that he'd had too much to drink and that it was a mistake, and Brittany even claimed that she didn't know he was still married. Jason released a statement explaining that he and his wife were trying to work things out, particularly as they had been childhood sweethearts, been married for 12 years and had 2 young daughters. However, the following April Jason filed for divorce from Jessica, and it is reported that he has been back dating Brittany ever since.
Naturally there has been a significant reaction, with some fans lambasting him for going back to her and holding suspicions that he remained dating her the entire time and perhaps had been for a while before the incident, and with others (albeit a much smaller few) wanting to give the relationship a chance in case it's the "real thing".
Personally, I don't see anything good coming out of this.
