Jason Aldean Announces First 23 Cities for 'Burn It Down Tour' 2015
The Burn It Down Tour has made it an immensely successful 2014 for country star Jason Aldean. So successful, in fact, that he's decided to stretch the tour into 2015 with a 23-city run starting in Greenville, South Carolina on February 12th.
"The tour is doing well, so you want to expand it and hit some cities that you didn't hit on the first leg of it — that's the biggest thing," Aldean says of the decision. "Every year you try to hit the major markets, for the most part. We were able to do that, but there were a few places we weren't able to hit on this run."
Tyler Farr and Cole Swindell will remain on the tour with Aldean, which is no surprise given how much Georgia native Aldean enjoys hanging out with them. Farr told Rolling Stone that he and Aldean are "dangerous" when they drink together, while Swindell remains "one of our Georgia boys from our circle."
"When you're out on the road for as long as we are and playing as many dates as we are, you want to be out there with guys that you enjoy hanging out with," says Aldean, of Farr and Swindell. "I get to go traveling and hang out with my boys for a year."

Fans can purchase tickets for the first of the shows right now at Aldean's official website. Further details will be revealed over the coming weeks. Aldean is a top-of-the-line live performer, with a show that features fire, pyro, fan interaction, and more. So I would imagine this will be a hot ticket (pun intended). Is he the king of country music at the moment? I suppose that's up for debate. Although with a #1 album on the Billboard 200 to his name this year, I'd say he's certainly in the conversation. And the success of this tour suggests the guy has considerable staying power -- both as a recording artist and as a live performer.
