Janet Jackson to Focus on Transgender People in Documentary

Janet Jackson will be the executive producer for Truth, a documentary which will follow the stories of transgender people all over the world.

Jackson will also conduct some on-camera interviews for the film.

"I've been fortunate to make friends and learn about very different lives," Jackson said. "Truth is our small chance to ask that you try and understand someone who lives their life in a way that is a little bit different from yours, even though all of our hearts are the same."

"We want to stop the hate and ?nd understanding."

In addition, Brainchild Films has hired Robert Jason to direct the movie, which will begin production this summer.
