Janet Grogan, Emily Middlemas, and Lizzy Pattinson audition on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)
Janet Grogan, Emily Middlemas, and Lizzy Pattinson auditioned on The X Factor UK 2014 Room Auditions.
Three more auditions, this time with an interesting collection of female vocalists who each offer a different style to the competition (although, strangely enough, two of them sing Bonnie Raitt songs). Of the three, Emily Middlemas was my favorite. Hell, she might be my favorite female in the competition so far, as her take on Cher Lloyd's 'Want U Back' was utterly terrific. She's like the British version of Kenzie Hall. Now, here's hoping she doesn't get randomly cut just before live shows, too. Of course, while both Janet and Lizzy are good singers, their auditions smacked of trying too hard, with Janet singing 'I Can't Make You Love Me' directly to Simon, and Lizzy making all these over-the-top motions while singing 'Feels Like Home'. It was just odd to watch. Still, I'd consider these three successful, entertaining auditions.
But what do you think of Janet Grogan, Emily Middlemas, and Lizzy Pattinson?
