Jamie Lynn Spears To Release Debut EP 'The Journey' On May 27

It was last year that Jamie Lynn Spears blindsided everyone by randomly releasing her debut single 'How Could I Want More' to iTunes, with no record label in sight. Even better, it wasn't some popstar's attempt at "doing country", it was actually good, and made everyone sit up and take notice.

Now, Jamie Lynn has announced that her debut EP, featuring that first single, will hit stores May 27th. Titled The Journey, and featuring five tracks in total, it showcases the talents of top Nashville songwriters Liz Rose and Chris Tompkins, as well as several others, and all were co-written by Jamie herself. You can check out the track listing below!

1. Shotgun Wedding
2. Run
3. How Could I Want More
