Jamie Lynn Spears Wore White at Her Wedding, But So Did Her Mother - PHOTOS

When Jamie Lynn Spears got married on Friday (March 14) she predictably wore a white gown to her wedding. And for some reason so did her mother.

Whoa, slow down there Dina Lohan.

The photo (above) was shared on Instagram by the Baton Rouge based store I Do Bridal Couture, who captioned the photo opportunity:

"It’s official ya’ll! @jamielynnspears is now Mrs. James Watson! We are so happy to have been part of this celebration of love. The beautiful bride, Mrs. Lynne and sweet Maddie all wore custom gowns by @liancarlodesign. More pics to come! Xo."

All of which still doesn't explain why the bride's mother wore a super similar gown to her own daughter's wedding.

For her part, sister Britney and her fabulous red hair wore a silver beaded number, making sure no one confused her with the bride.
