James Franco is sharing another shirtless selfie in which he wears his underwear down super low and tries to imitate a Robert Mapplethorpe self portrait from 1975.

Which he eventually deleted. So basically a normal day for James Franco.

You may recall that he referred to his previous selfie (which was much more scandalous) as his Britney Spears moment. Also that he took it because the fans wanted it.

Allegedly.

We can assume that this photo (captioned, "SELFIEMADNESS The adderall diaries.") is also for the fans.

Or that it's some weird self-promotion for his upcoming role in the memoir The Adderall Diaries by Stephen Elliott.

Sort of like that possible self-promotion when he hit on that teenage girl on Instagram.
