James Franco May Have Tried to Hook Up With A Teen Girl on Instagram - VIDEO, PHOTOS

After meeting a 17-year-old girl from Scotland outside the stage door of his Broadway play Of Mice and Men, James Franco allegedly tried to hook up with her through social media DMs. Awkward.

The story goes like this, the teenager took an Instagram video of Franco (see below) in New York, at which point he requested that she tag him in it. All of which you can hear on the video.

She complied and he immediately started sending her messages which included a selfie and the questions, where do you live, do you have a boyfriend and how old are you?

Read: the typical questions you would ask someone you are trying to get with.

He then asked for her phone number, proceeded to text her asking if they should get a hotel room and she promptly declined because she's only 17.

You can check screenshots of all this nonsense below, which the girl in question, Lucy, threw up on Imgur.

Of course Franco claims that he's not looking for anything from teenaged girls, tweeting the very cryptic:

Of course knowing James Franco this could all just be performance art.
