James Avery of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' dead at 65
James Avery, most known for his role as Phillip Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has died at age 65, as confirmed by former co-star Alfonso Ribeiro.

Avery starred in many other films and television series over the span of his long career, which included many voice roles for animation.

He was last seen on-screen in 2012 in guest roles on The Young and the Restless and Grey's Anatomy.

RIP Mr. Avery! His family and loved ones will be in my thoughts & prayers.
