Jake Quickenden sings 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Jake Quickenden sang 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic' on The X Factor UK 2014 Judges' Houses.

Jake took a song I've grown to really dislike over years of constant use on singing competitions like this, and made me love it as much as I did when I first heard it. The piano-based arrangement, along with the tenderness of Jake's vocals, made it feel like an entirely new song. I absolutely loved this, even though I do think Jake has a tendency of occasionally getting lost in his own world. But that emotion makes him all the more compelling to watch, since it's often clear that he's really feeling what he's singing. I dug it.

But what do you think of Jake Quickenden?

JAKE QUICKENDEN is through to Live Shows!

Another good choice on Mel B's part. I don't know if he can win, but Jake is a real underdog here. I'd say he's a stealth threat to go really deep into the competition.
