Jake Owen To Debut New Single On Jimmy Fallon

Jake Owen will debut his new single, 'Days of Gold' on Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, August 8.

It will air on NBC at 12:35P ET/11:35P CT. Jake recently said of the new song, "The Days of Gold are the good times… The times we remember. The times we reflect on. I’ll always look back on my life and remember these days. For me, these times in my life right now really are the days of gold!"

The song, which is a bit of a change in sound for Jake, was released to retailers yesterday and goes to radio next week. It is the lead single from his 4th studio album, expected later this year, and currently untitled. It follows his #1 record Barefoot Blue Jean Night, released in 2011, and his previous single 'Anywhere With You' which was a country radio #1.

Fans are intrigued to see whether 'Days of Gold' signifies a change in musical direction for Jake Owen, or whether it'll simply be a bit of experimentation.
