Preparation

The coaches praise Jake’s ability, with Usher saying how much Jake sounds like Justin Timberlake, and Shakira talking about his runs (although warning against too many vocal flourishes). He mentions how big an honor it was to be saved by Adam, since he’s such a big fan of Maroon 5. Such a big fan, in fact, that he’s chosen “She Will Be Loved,” which Adam sees as an honor in itself.
