Jai Waetford - Drops of Jupiter - The X Factor Australia 2013 - Full Video

Jai Waetford sang “Drops of Jupiter” on The X Factor Australia 2013 Live Show 5.

I think it's kind of endearing to see how Jai's confidence as a performer (not just as a singer) grows each week. He seems more comfortable onstage, and he seems willing to take more risks, whether it's dancing or reaching for glory notes he wouldn't have tried for in Week One. I liked his performance last week better, but this would be a close number two for me in the ranking of Jai's live show performances. In an age where the majority of reality show singing contestants have already had record deals or experience in the music industry, and come into a competition fully-formed as an artist, it's rare to see a performer actually grow throughout a season of a singing show. That's one of the biggest reasons I'm digging Jai.
