Jacob Lusk is #1 - Ranking the American Idol Top 11 Redux
Jacob Lusk was the most popular Idol on Rickey.org this week! The Black Diva Never Dies™ in this blog! "Baby Luther" had the most US unique views landing him at #1. He improved his season average to #4, tied with James Durbin.
James Durbin was at #2, up from #5 from last week.
Paul McDonald was at #3, up from #6 last week and improves his season average to #2.
Pia Toscano was at #4, down from #2 last week but she remains the front-runner to win American Idol Season 10 keeping her #1 season average for four weeks in a row.
Casey Abrams was at #5, down from #1 last week -- and he almost got eliminated this week as he got the lowest number of votes. However, the judges saved him and he lives to sing another week. His season average drops to #3.
Naima Adedapo was at #6, up from #11 last week and her season average remains at #9.
Scotty McCreery was at #7 (same as last week) and his season average drops to #6.
Thia Megia was at #8, up from #9 last week and improves her season average to #7.
Haley Reinhart was at #9, up from #10 last week and retains her #11 season average.
Lauren Alaina was at #10, down from #8 last week and retains her #10 season average.
Stefano Langone, despite my 'Save Stefano Minnelli' campaign was at #11 this week, down a staggering 8 places from #3 last week. He landed in the Bottom 3 and his season average drops to #8. Wow, you guys really didn't like him. I'm so hurt.
Notes
It was truly a shocking result this week with Casey Abrams getting the least votes on the show. Perhaps the over-the-top Nirvana performance from last week started the negative trend, and singing first this week did not help at all. However, he did get decent views this week.
For the rest of the Bottom 3, our chart is fairly on point. Stefano had the lowest views and did end up in the Bottom 2 and Thia was in the Bottom 4 in our chart.
56% of Thia Megia's total unique views comes from outside the United States - and she's actually #1 in total unique views. After the Summer Tour she should immediately pack her bags and launch her career in the Philippines. She is the reverse-Charice! Amazing.
Casey Abrams and Thia Megia landing in the Bottom 3 prove the point that pageviews can't tell the whole story. Even if Thia is popular on Rickey.org for example, an overwhelming majority of her fans don't bother to vote for her week after week.
