Jackie Evancho is on pace to outsell David Cook and Scotty McCreery this week according to Hits Daily Double:

Jackie Evancho (Columbia) 50-55k * David Cook (19/RCA/RMG) 38-43k * Scotty McCreery (Interscope) 38-43k

* Debuts (6/30p)

Jackie's 'Dream With MeImage: ' is her second studio album and was released on June 14, 2011. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 selling 161,000 copies. It has sold 238,000 copies so far. Her EP 'O Holy Night' sold 1 million copies in 2010. Jackie finished as runner-up on America's Got Talent.

This might be some good news for American Idol Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery as these sales numbers only account for Walmart sales. His EP 'American Idol Season 10 HighlightsImage: ' don't go on sale on Amazon and iTunes until July 26, 2011. So there might be some legs on this EP. Country fans are awesome!

It's bad news however for David Cook. His selling power has diminished significantly since winning American Idol. The silver lining is 'This Loud MorningImage: ' will still beat David Archuleta's last album release debut (24,000) -- and is in line with some recent album alumni debuts: Lee DeWyze 'Live It Up' (39,000) and Jordin Sparks 'Battlefield' (48,000). It may have something to do with the Idol franchise as a whole - and the entire music industry for that matter - and not necessarily David Cook.

The second week sales will be more crucial for David Cook since RCA might consider dropping him if there is a significant drop in sales. Also, how does this bode for the Season 8 hitmakers Adam Lambert and Kris Allen? The pressure is on them now to deliver. Will they beat David Cook's sophomore release numbers?
