J.R. Ramirez Cast as Wildcat in 'Arrow' Season 3

News continues to roll in for Arrow Season 3. Hardly a week after the Season 3 trailer was released, alongside the first look at Colton Haynes as Arsenal, comes new that the cast is about to get a feline addition to its ensemble.

J.R. Ramirez has been cast as Ted "Wildcat" Grant in Season 3 of Arrow. The character is an ex-boxer who runs a gym for underprivileged youths in Starling City in between training vigilantes like Black Canary as a member of the Justice Society of America. How will Wildcat fit into the season beyond his obvious involvement as a trainer of vigilantes? Well, there's plenty of time for speculation, since Arrow doesn't return until Wednesday, October 8th at 8:00 PM ET.

Still, even with the long(ish) wait, we're generally pretty stoked to see how Season 3 pans out, especially with The Flash on the horizon as well. Between these two shows and FOX's Gotham, it could be the fall for superheroes.
