Is Mariah Carey Bitter About 'The X-Factor'?

Last year, it was rumored that Mariah Carey would be joining The X-Factor judging panel -- alongside Simon Cowell. Well, that did not exactly come to fruition. At a Project Canvas event on May 14, 2012, Extra caught up with the big voiced diva about the recent news that Britney Spears would be joining the show.

"You think I focus on that stuff?" she commented. She then quickly back pedaled her statement, saying:

"I love her, honestly, I think she's a very nice person. But I don't care who's going on what show -- as long as it's not me."
