Is Kris Allen not wearing his wedding ring to hide that he is married?

While we're on the subject of wedding rings and sympathy votes, I thought I'd take a look at our other married Idol, Kris Allen. (Wha? He's married???)

Simon Cowell famously said that Kris Allen should have not let the cat out of the bag early.

Screencap evidence show that Kris has worn his wedding band since Man in the Mirror, and is proud to be married to his wife (who is now only referred to as "Family" when she is panned to by the camera).

So the anwser is: NO.

He is wearing his wedding ring to tell all the girls, women and gay men out there that he is taken. I am heart-broken.

The only married Idol I know whose marriage ended in divorce after being on the show was Bucky Covington. All the rest, including Chris Daughtry and Bo Bice have remained tight.
