iPhone 5 to be revealed on October 4

Oh how exciting! I wonder if the rumors are true that the iPhone 5 will be coming out on Sprint. That would be something if three carriers debuted the same phone (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint).

Hopefully, the phone won't have the same defects as the iPhone 4.

From Daily Beast:

Save the date. Apple is set to unveil its latest iPhone on October 4, sources tell AllThingsD. The unveiling will be of special importance for the company, as it will be the first conducted by new CEO Tim Cook, who took over at Apple after Steve Jobs stepped down due to poor health. Presiding over the product rollout will be Cook's first opportunity to publicly set a tone for his new role and establish himself as the successor to Jobs, who made such unveilings an iconic part of his leadership at the company.
