The Insane Clown Posse are in the process of suing the federal government for saying their fans (known as Juggalos) are not just fans, but a gang.
ICP says a 2011 FBI report calls Juggaloas a "loosely organized hybrid gang" comprised of violent "lawbreakers" and that as a result, their fans have been targeted and harassed by police.
Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope however explained in the suit that Juggalos are not a gang. They admit that a few fans may have broken laws in their past but added, "It is wrong to designate the entire group of supporters as a criminal gang based on the acts of a few."
"We're not a gang. We're a family," added Shaggy during a press conference.
Several fans have also joined the group in the suit, reporting that they've been stopped by cops for wearing ICP clothing and in one instance was forced to remove ICP tattoos in order to join the military.
We'd like to be optimistic, but yeah, we can't see imagine this ending well.
