'Ink Master' Winner Scott Marshall Dead at 41

Scott Marshall, the Season 4 winner of Spike's reality tattoo competition Ink Master has passed away at the age of 41.

According to his wife Johanna, Marshall spent the evening in a hotel room near his shop on Saturday (Oct. 24) because he did not feel well.

Local police say Marshall passed away in his sleep. His death is currently under investigation, but preliminary autopsy reports indicate it was heart related.

Said an Ink Master rep of the artist's passing, "He was a great competitor and talented artist. Our deepest condolences go out to the Marshall family and friends."

In addition to his wife, Marshall leaves behind three children.
