In The Heights to Close on Broadway in January

Oh no! How sad. It was really hard to replace some of the cast members.

From Playbill:

The Tony-winning musical In the Heights will play its final performance at the Richard Rodgers Theatre Jan. 9, 2011, at 7 PM.

When it closes, the production will have played 29 previews and 1,185 regular performances.

To celebrate the end of its three-year run, original star and co-creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will return to his Tony-nominated role of Usnavi for the final two weeks of the Broadway run, Dec. 25-Jan. 9, 2011.
