"In the Heights" - Ticket Lottery Update - 06/26/08

So I worked this morning, picked up my comic books and the compact camera I had repaired, then headed for the Main Library for some "work". I almost have the final list for the Archey Reporters ready and I hope I get this done by tonight. I started on the "how to be a reporter" draft as well.

At any rate, an interesting thing happened in the lottery today. There was a group of lottery goers who were crying foul over how the girl (still don't know her name) was conducting the lottery. They claim that some rules were not followed -- such as being at the theater when your name is called. A girl's name was called and her guy friend took her place in the line, then swapped places with her when she arrived. And so this group was livid. I recognize this "gang" -- I think they go to every single lottery on Broadway or something. I saw this same group when I lined up for Hairspray years ago.

So anyway, my first "conditional" fail! Since maybe if the girl was a bit more strict, tonight may have been the night. But it wasn't. So live video blogging So You Think You Can Dance it is...
