"In the Heights" - Lottery Update 2 - 06/22/08

Status: Double Fail

After the boat ride, I played some board games with some friends. We weren't able to play this political wargame called "Princes of the Renaissance" because we lacked one player so we ended up playing a really fun game called "Fresh Fish" instead. I really love smart simple games.

Afterward I headed for the theater, but unfortunately there was no lottery. It turns out that Sunday evening shows start in the Fall/September so the information on the "In the Heights" website is a bit misleading since it lists times for a Sunday night lottery.

Nevertheless, somebody named Monica came up to me (she had just seen the last show of Cry-Baby) and said "hi" -- yay! -- while I was waiting for the rain to stop in front of the theater. She said that she got her whole office reading Rickey.org for American Idol. Thank you Monica!

Walking to the subway, I saw Howie Michael Smith who plays Princeton on "Avenue Q". We engaged in chitchat at the stoplight. LOL. I sang the first lines of Princeton in the show: What do you do with a BA in English? Then Howie said, yes I've sang that so many times. I told him that I've seen him many times and told him to break a leg. And then the sign said walk and that was that.

Next lottery: Tuesday
