Illinois House passes Marriage Equality bill

The Illinois House passed the Marriage Equality bill today. Happy Day!

The Illinois Senate already passed the bill back in February and will adapt the changes to the new bill. The law will take effect on June 1, 2014.

Governor Pat Quinn said he will sign the bill into law.

Illinois will the 15th state with marriage equality.
