Ice-T Recorded a 'Dungeons & Dragons' Audiobook So There's That

Once upon a time in a land far, far away, Ice-T agreed to record an audiobook. What he didn't realize at the time was that it was for a Dungeons & Dragons book.

Ice revealed the anecdote during a recent episode of Ice-T's Final Level Podcast where the actor explains that when he took the gig he didn't know what book he would be reading.

"Motherf--kers talk like Yoda," Ice recalled of the experience, adding, "They were talking about 'pegasuses' and 'pegasi.' That's horses with wings."

He continued, "This motherf--ker got a sword that talks to him… Motherf--kers live in places that don't exist, and it comes with a map. My God."

Ah to have been witness to this glorious event!

While he didn't reveal the name of the book, he did say he would announce when the audiobook would be available for sale.

We're sure it's going to be a doozy, the 25-pages he recorded took him three-and-a-half-hours to get through.

He joked, "It’ll be a treat to watch me, with my South Central-educated ass, trying to read some Dungeons & Dragons shit."
