Watch These Teachers Announce School Closing With 'Ice Ice Baby' Parody

Video no longer available.

Schools all across the East Coast closed today (Feb. 13) due to snow, but only one did it with a parody of Vanilla Ice's very appropriate "Ice Ice Baby."

Sorry, would you have preferred an "Under Pressure" parody?

Michael Ulku-Steiner and Lee Hark, head of school and assistant head of school at the private Durham Academy in North Carolina decided to have a little fun with their school closing announcement, turning the '90s rap into a more snow appropriate themed tune.

Lyrics include the hysterical, "Alright stop. Collaborate and listen. Ice is back and the roads will glisten" and "sleet falling down like a million missiles, bringing school delays and early dismissals."

As Ulku-Steiner admitted to CNN of the video, "We had fun with it. It was very spur of the moment. We’ll try to keep people guessing for sure."

"We were thinking about a rain delay message using Milli Vanilli's 'Blame It on the Rain," Hark went on to joke.

Enjoy!
