ICANN reveals 1,930 proposed new domain names

Get ready for the biggest Internet land grab in history.

ICANN revealed 1,930 gTLD (generic Top-Level Domain) names that were applied for over the past few months. Google applied for 103 of them including .google, .youtube, .chrome, and .android.

It will take some more time (years?) before any of these go live as there are many disputes. The cost to apply? $185,000 per domain. ICANN is the mother of all scams on the Internet, seriously. The spoils go to the highest bidder.
