Looks like Hugh Jackman has no intention of hanging up his claws any time soon.

The Academy Award-nominated actor is in negotiations to return for a third Wolverine film along with director James Mangold, who is currently making a deal to write a treatment for the movie. Mangold is reportedly keeping the film's storyline tightly under wraps. X-Men franchise producer Lauren Shuler Donner will be returning to produce.

This year's The Wolverine was a box office smash, grossing $413 million worldwide in the months following its July release. The domestic and international totals make it the second highest-grossing X-Men film behind 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, which raked in over $459 million worldwide.
