Hot

So can I talk about myself for a minute?

1. While cleaning out the junk and clutter in my room, I was suddenly gripped with emotion as my life literally flashed before my eyes in scribblings, school notes, letters, etc. I didn't know that throwing things could move you to tears -- it's like starring in your own B-movie. At any rate, I held back, but it's quite an expereince to realize that you are not the same person from the one whose ramblings you are still storing in a plastic box from the Container Store. I've gone through a lot apparently, I could cry.

2. My taste buds are still on the fritz, but after some experimentation I just found out that I am now semi-immune to these:

Hahaha. I was wondering why these cayenne peppers had zero hotness when I took a bite from them, so I asked my roommate and did some research if they were indeed hot. She said that they were "quite hot" and a website wrote that they were "plenty hot" (although not as hot as the Philippine Siling Labuyo). I can now conclude that those taste buds that used to tell me that my tongue is burning don't work (along with the ones that confuse sweet with bitter, etc.) I did sweat and glow red, but my mouth did not burn at all. Eeeek. Is this my new power? Can I now join the cast of Heroes? How do I earn money out of this?

Eating hot peppers is not hot. Hihi.
