'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Trailer Is EPIC (VIDEO)

The Hobbit trilogy is concluding this December with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Ignoring that the original title, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, was a far better title than this, The Battle of the Five Armies actually seems intent on delivering exactly what's promised there in the title. And then some.

Maybe it's the use of Pippin's song from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, with Billy Boyd's haunting voice adding to the sense of insurmountable peril, or maybe it's all the shots of huge armies and daunting threats that Thorin Oakenshield and co. seem incapable of matching, or maybe it's the ominous-sounding quotes ("Will you follow me, one last time?"), but this trailer looks epic in every sense of the term (i.e., long, exhausting, and expansive). I'm absolutely hyped for this, and can't wait to see how it all turns out, even with all the deviations from the book. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies hits theaters on December 17th, so tide yourself over by checking out the full trailer below:
