Hillary Clinton Calls For $12 An Hour Minimum Wage

Hillary Clinton said on Tuesday that she would like to raise the minimum wage to $12 per hour from the current $7.25.

Clinton made the suggestion at a campaign event in Coralville, Iowa, according to Raw Story.

She said: "I want to raise the federal minimum wage to $12, and encourage other communities to go even higher."

Her main opponent in the Democratic primaries Barry Sanders is calling for an increase to $15 an hour.
