Hilary Duff Says She's Up for More 'Lizzie McGuire'

Like Miley Cyrus later in the 2000s, Hilary Duff got her start on the Disney Channel. Even a decade later, Lizzie McGuire still has its fans, and they're likely going to be thrilled that Duff isn't exactly ashamed of where she came from.

In an interview with Huffington Post, Duff revealed she'd be open to playing Lizzie McGuire again.

"I love it! I would be totally open to it. My schedule is a little busy right now. But um … why not?" said Duff, who has a new shower, Younger, premiering on TV Land in January. "I mean, so many people loved her. I loved her. Honestly, working on that show, I got so strong with my physical comedy and all the things that they would throw at me. I got covered in goo every week, and I got, like, smashed in the face with a locker every single week. And all this, I mean it was a really, really fun show. And obviously people really loved her. Maybe a 'Lizzie: Where Are You Now?' like 10 years later."

You know, a Lizzie McGuire revival might not be the worst idea for Duff's career, what with nostalgia being as powerful as it is...particularly on Disney Channel (Hi, Girl Meets World!)

But what do you think? Would you watch a Lizzie McGuire reunion? Sound off in the comments!
