Heroes Recap: Turn and Face the Strange

This could have been a really good episode, but unfortunately, a lot of time was dedicated to Matt Parkman which brings it down several notches.

I don't understand why they are keeping him. I thought this show was already improving -- but still they make us suffer through another asinine Matt Parkman story. And he was in multiple storylines too -- since Hiro and Ando were "saving" his Stop and Go Baby.

And now the good parts:

Wow, wow, wow. HRG just got pwned by Sylar and Danko. Now this is the type of Heroes story we want to see.

Sylar now equipped with the shapeshifting power plays mind games with HRG by impersonating his wife -- and handing him divorce papers -- hahaha. HRG meanwhile is skeptical that Sylar is indeed dead and does some research. He proves that the dead body is not Sylar and concludes that Sylar is now a shapeshifter. Unfortunately, he confronts his real wife in the process at gunpoint! Oh that was good. He then impersonates Sylar impersonating himself in front of Danko. Danko tells him that Sylar is going on "assignment" as Agent Donner. HRG goes after him. He shoots him at the back of the head in front of Danko and other soldiers. Agent Donner does not get up. HRG runs! Wow. After a lot of bleeding, Donner/Sylar does indeed get up in front of Danko. He says he bled a little extra for dramatic effect.

Meanwhile, the Petrellis have a family reunion in a place called Coyote Sands.

I am still rooting for a comeback. Heroes was renewed for another season, and if this is the direction it is going (hopefully minus Matt Parkman) I am very excited.
