Heroes - Season 3 - One of Us, One of Them

I wasn't able to post anything about the Heroes premiere last week (was too excited after doing a live blog on Rickey TV), but for the record: HEROES IS BACK!!!

And for the record again: Angela Petrelli is PURE EVIL!

But I'm getting ahead of myself. So many things have happened in the first three chapters of Season 3 that I'm convinced the producers felt the sting of the fans from the debacle that was Season 2. They pretty much WIPED OUT all plots and characters that were created and developed in Season 2, except for Maya who I think will play prominently in the Mohinder plot (unless Mohinder himself kills her, and that's the end of that). If all these mind-wipes aren't an acknowledgment that Season 2 sucked, I don't know what is.

SPOILERS

So tonight we find out that Ali Larter's character is no longer a schizophrenic Niki Sanders, but a clone. Arghhh. In fact, Niki Sanders is dead. In other words: say goodbye to Micah Sanders (who guest-starred by the way). I don't see any way for Micah to come back into the picture since all ties to him are now over. His cousin -- the body mimic and grandmother -- all written off.

The Niki Sanders clone plot however is brilliant. This explains why she had problems with her "memories" and personalities. Maybe she was like Triplicate Girl from the Legion of Super-Heroes. Or maybe the memories and personalities of the dead clones did transfer to her brain. Let's see how this "clone" Tracy Strauss -- who has cool "ice queen" powers plays out.

The Haitian is back! But no longer as HRG's partner. Noah's partner is no other than agent Slyar! OMG. However, Sylar still needs to feed his hunger, and he's still killing people with super-powers. All of this of course, under the consent of his mother who gave him up for adoption when he was a baby... Angela Petrelli! OMG, did I tell you guys that she was EVIL? Peter Petrelli has evil his genes.... no!!!!!

Peter Petrelli finally gets out of the body future Peter Petrelli put him in. So now we will have a episodes showing the two Peters together. Next week is a "future" episode, and future Claire just might kill future Peter according to the preview. I like the future and present Peter. Know why? Because Peter Petrelli is awesome!

Meanwhile, in the worst plot ever department: Parkman is still in the African desert with this dude who has Isaac's powers. What in the world is a "spirit walk"? Is this the Astral Plane? Lame. At least we see the turtle again.

In the kinda bad plot department: Claire apparently has revenge-issues. Omigosh. He took away my "feeling" -- I want to kill Sylar! Oh god. At least she becomes an assasin in the future.

In the blah department: the Hiro comic-relief is getting old for me. Can't Ando just kick his ass? I can't wait for Ando to get powers already. At any rate, Hiro is a major character here so hopefully his misadventures will get a little bit better. Apparently he will have interactions with Angela Petrelli and HRG and Sylar since he and Ando are now incarcerated at the corporation cells.

So that's it. Another great episode.
