Heroes - Episode 34 - Vol. 2 Chapter 11 - Powerless

SPOILERS
Thank god it's over -- can they even sell Volume 2 of Heroes as a DVD box set? It seems like a waste of time and money.
At any rate, the way the story unfolded, I think that it did hold promise, but the execution was just abysmal. So many things happened in this episode which made me feel that the writers just wanted it over and done with. Ironically, just as Adam alluded to how god swept civilization in a flood, this is pretty much what had happened to Heroes Volume 2. Let's just tuck it away and move on.

Some thoughts:
Notice that in the end, Peter Petrelli couldn't even care less about Catyln! So much for that motivation -- how is Peter supposed to save her now if the future the was supposed to happen will not happen? Mind-freeze.
Anyway, so Sylar is back with his power which is great. Something to look forward to in Volume 3. And Elle, which was such a waste of a character for Kristen Bell to play, just might have some spark left in her -- looks like she is going to be a firecracker type of character who will join the good guys.
Adam: Oh well, so he's now tucked away underground. It's quite possible that the writers will resurrect his character to torment Hiro once again, but I guess he had to go. Too bad that his inclusion in this series was just so mishandled.
HRG: OMG -- I don't think his character is completely destroyed, but doh. What a big disappointment how his story with Claire went down. Can this be the one part that gets completely re-written in Heroes lore?
Niki Sanders: Probably not dead, which might disappoint some. Micah's power is too awesome.

So we are all going to wait for a while before any new episode of Heroes comes along because of the writer's strike. Hopefully they would have learned their lessons from this poor season to bring us the excitement and "best episode ever" feeling of Season 1 for Season 3. Sadly, I have to say that Heroes Season 2 was the worst season ever. But nowhere to go but up yeah? We'll just have to wait.

SPOILER VIDEO CLIP: (Don't watch if you do not want to know the ending of Volume 2)
Nathan Petrelli: Probably not dead either. I'm thinking Claire Bennett sees all this unfold on TV then scrambles to the Odessa, TX police station or wherever to save her biological father.
