Heroes - Chapter 31 - Cautionary Tales

No! He can't be dead!

I don't know, I think HRG Noah was bit over the top with the "you're not taking away my daughter" drama. I find it hard to accept that he is supposed to believe that the Claire-West romance is "real". Argh, the Heroes writers may have gone to the picket lines a bit too early -- or they were sabotaging their own show. And what's up with Mohinder turning into a weakling all of a sudden? C'mon now. The HRG/Mohinder/Parkman storyline which started with a lot of promise, did not end well.

So like Adam/Takezo, Claire's blood has healing, life giving properties. Yay. So she is really all powerful. I imagine like in Season 3 or 4, Claire will pretty much be her own woman, and just kick ass. But not this season.

Meanwhile, Parkman discovers the extent of his mind-reading powers -- and yes, he has now become all powerful as well. He can now communicate both ways and has mind-control. WTF.

Hiro tries to save his father from death by traveling in time, but learns to accept his father's fate. We find out the identity of his father's killer and it is indeed Adam/Takezo. (It might have been a bit more complex if it was Peter, don't you think?)

So now, in the last 2 episodes, we will find out about the "virus" that the corporation will spread (apparently, if I am reading the preview right, courtesy of Niki Sanders -- how LAME) and it's going to be Hiro vs. Peter Petrelli. You just can't build up that drama in just 2 episodes. But you know what REALLY SUCKS? NOTHING happened to the Maya/Alejandro/Sylar storyline. As in NOTHING. Now that is truly dropping the ball.

It's good that the producers have acknowledged that they've made a lot of mistakes this season, so let's hope that Season 3 -- which is a year away -- will be the Heroes of old.

Mohinder's hotness could not save how lame they've made his character for the past few episodes. How sad.
