Alas, Heroes has officially entered meandering Lost territory. I think my gripe is not exactly plot, but the almost total lack of storytelling. This episode is now no different from two or three episodes we've seen this season. It's all a blur. What the heck does "The Line" mean as the title? It's totally meaningless since no main storyline is present in the episode. It's just snips of the season 2 plot presented to us in bits and pieces. Very frustrating.

Okay I take it back, I've realized what "The Line" meant. Unfortunately, it's too abstract. I guess it meant that the characters crossed (or did not cross) "a line" of morality, etc. But it did not apply to Peter Petrelli since he's the prologue and epilogue. So the title of the episode is the only things that holds these characters together? Lame.

However, some plot points were indeed excellent. Hiro ruining the space time continuum. HRG a torturer! Maya seduced by the dark side. I can work with those.

Claire being a high school student was a yawnfest though. And Mohinder and Monica's story was a mess. And Peter's big reveal in the end was like... OK, can you kindly tell us first what could possibly cause this? During Season 1, it all fit together since when we went into the future, we knew it was because of "the bomb" that blew up in New York and Sylar succeeding with his diabolical ways. So the evacuation is because of that vaccine Bob was making in the lab? If that's a major plot point then the writers have pretty much grazed over it for the past few episodes haven't they?

Still a fan, just not wowed. I'm totally jaded. Hiro is in the past, Peter is in the future (via Ireland and Montreal)... argh.
