OMG. This show is incredible. In one hour we were exposed to Japanese, Spanish, French and even Irish. I'm so impressed by the global scope of the story now. So many storylines in different places.

I'm glad that we were able to see the powers of Maya and Alejandro. They're twins and Maya is like the angel of death who kills everyone around her when she cries black tears and Alejandro makes everything better by absorbing all her bad energy. Nice. Thank god those area-effect powers are rare and with an antidote.
Hiro is still lost in ancient Japan, and for a while I was thinking it might be some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy (Hiro was in fact Takezo Kensai), but that healing factor power that Takezo showed in the end made everything interesting.
Mohinder goes to Haiti to heal the Haitian! Goddammit what an awesome storyline. Mohinder working with HRG working with Parkman (whose gotten better in fairness) is just awesome. They are the brains, while the heavyweights (Peter, Hiro and Claire) figure out their lives.
Peter Petrelli has lost his memory, but it seems that he is now ultra powerful. He did the lightning bolts, phasing, telekinesis, super-strength and healing factor all in one episode. Why doesn't he just grab the box and run? Hmmm. I guess if you absolutely have zero memory, it might be wise to take it slow, even if you are super-powered.
Finally Claire cuts off her toe to test a theory -- and it works! This guy in school who has a crush on her, and who can fly witnessed it, so next episode we'll see them hook up.
Looks like Sylar, Niki and Micah return next week.
I love this show.
