Gordon Ramsay is looking for the best of the best this season to become HIS head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Steak at the Paris building in Las Vegas, NV. This is a brave, brave man giving one of these amateurs a chance to become his head chef. He’s such a crazy, busy man! Gotta love him!

There are more fights in the dorm rooms, in the kitchen, in the parking lot, and especially at the eliminations than ever before.

In the preview before the season premiere begins, Ramsay screams “Get out! Get out! Get the f**k out of my kitchen!”
One contestant named Briana, 32, claims to already have a crush on Sous Chef Scott. She has the hots for his shiny, bald head. Scott brings out the barber’s chair! OMG! Sous Chef Andi rips off her wig to reveal what appears to be a bald head, but indeed is just a skin-cover for her actual hair! Sous Chef Andi isn’t really bald. After Scott shaves off two people’s heads, he is getting ready to take a razor to Dana’s, 27, head when Chef Ramsay stops Scott.
Once again, it’s the season of Men vs. Women. These 18 contestants have 45 minutes to prepare their best entree. Brian, 31, is already giving off the douchy vibe.
Kimmie, 27, from a town in Memphis, Tennessee is so fun-nay! I have only seen a few seconds of her personality, and she is already making me a fan! I love to see contestants with a good sense of humor! Chef Ramsay then reveals that the two people who volunteered to have their heads shaven were two of Sous Chef Scott’s friends!!

As usual, Gordon Ramsay will bring up the contestants in twos (a man and a woman), then taste-test each of their entrees, and finally assess a point to the Women’s team or the Men’s team. Robyn, 31, receives a great review of her entree from Ramsay. Ramsay says her dish is delicious. Cowboy Don, 44, puts a little too much spice in his dish. Ramsay haaates it. The score is now Women (1) - Men (0).
Next, Tiffany, who is 30 years old, brings up a nasty-looking dish. What was she thinking?? Ramsay describes her lamb chop as a “wet diaper.” Ramsay’s analogies are so full of win, and they definitely make for good TV! From the men’s team, Guy, 28, warns Chef to not try the dish because he burned it. Chef describes it as a “fish sundae.” Ewwww. Ew!! That sounds so gross. Neither of them receive a point. The score is still Women (1) - Men (0).
Roshni, 28, is having better luck with her dish as Ramsay loves the balance of flavor in her dish. Royce, 29, also receives rave reviews for his dish. Both of them receive a point! A+ for their hard work and execution! The scoreboard is now Women (2) - Men (1).
Next, Justin wins a point for the Men’s team, while Danielle fails to impress. The score is now tied at 2 a piece. Kimmie and Brian serve Ramsay unimpressive dishes, to say the least, both failing to score points for their respective teams. Score is still tied at 2 - 2. The contestants appear to be losing their momentum as Barbie and Chris fail to score points. Score is still tied at 2 all.
At last! Briana and Patrick have prepared entrees that match Ramsay’s taste buds. They each receive a point. The overall score is now Women (3) - Men (3).
Ramsay loves Dana’s scallops, but Tavon appears to have put too much vinegar in his entree. The women now lead by a point, with a score of 4 to 3. Christina receives a point for the Women’s team; however, Clemenza unfortunately dazzles a little too much truffle oil onto his dish resulting in an overall 5 - 3 first-challenge win for the ladies.
As a punishment for losing the challenge, the men must clean up their kitchen as well as the women’s kitchen. Ramsay rewards the women with a steak barbecue specially cooked by Season 3 winner, Rock, and Season 6 winner, Dave.
The team colors are revealed: the men are the Blue Team and the women are the Red Team.
Uh-oh. Just before the 125th dinner service opens up, Briana is having trouble naming the entrees. She takes awhile to name them, but does manage to get them all correct in the end.

In the kitchen, Roshni forgets to sautee her scallops. Oh boy. Is it first day jitters or did she just forget to cook them? 45 minutes into the dinner service, the Red Team has yet to get an appetizer out. Ramsay banishes Roshni to her dorm room. Barbie takes over Roshni’s station, helping the Red Team serve its first appetizer.

Professional NFL player, Leigh Bodden, is in the house! He’s still waiting for his food.
75 minutes into the dinner service, the Blue Team has yet to serve its first appetizer because Tavon did not slice the scallops correctly. Ramsay banishes Tavon to his dorm room. Royce then hands Ramsay crunchy spaghetti noodles. Not appealing. At. All. A second member of the Blue Team, Royce, is kicked out of the kitchen.

“Get out! All of you!! Stop, end of the day. GET OUT!”, Chef Ramsay says to the entire Blue Team. Also extremely unimpressed with the Red Team, Ramsay instructs the Red Team to “Shut it down and clean up!”
Zero entrees were served at tonight’s dinner service. Is this a new record?

The losing team tonight is the Blue Team and they have nominated Tavon and Don for elimination. However, Chef Gordon Ramsay immediately overrides this decision as he nominates Tavon and Royce for elimination.
Ramsay eliminates Tavon.
17 chefs remain. The next episode airs tomorrow, 6/5, at 8pm ET. Be sure to tune in! You don’t want to miss it!
