HBO To Host Nationwide 'Girls' Screenings

By Noelle ·

This is exciting! HBO is gearing up for season 3 of their hit comedy series Girls by hosting a special event. The network plans to host "Girls Night Out", a nationwide event screening Girls in eight different cities.

The screenings will take place the same night as the New York City premiere, which takes place Monday, January 6th at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Fans will gather to watch a live feed of the New York premiere as the cast appears on the red carpet. Those attending will get to see the new episodes before the series return to HBO on January 12th.

The cities with screenings include:

Atlanta

Austin

Boston

Chicago

Dallas

Philadelphia

San Francisco (delayed)

Washington, D.C.

No New York? Does the New York City red carpet premiere count as a screening?

Fans are encouraged to follow the official Girls Tumblr (http://whatshouldwecallgirls.tumblr.com) for an opportunity to register to attend the event in their city.

Girls returns on January 12th with back-to-back new episodes following True Detective.
