Hawaii Five-0 - Season 2 Episode 2 - Ua Lawe Wale - Recap

Steve is all spiffed up and wearing a fancy shirt that's getting Danno all hot and bothered in this episode. He's got a meeting with the Governor who informs him he has a new member for 5-0. Lori Weston, a hot blonde that I can only assume is there to be a love/hate interest for Steve, will be joining the team to make sure they don't continue to break the rules. Steve looks so good.

The team is investigating a kidnapping this week of a 15 year old girl. They track down that the girl was adopted and may have been taken by someone associated with a cult. Time is running out because the girl has a heart condition and needs her medicine asap. They realize that her biological family is responsible for her kidnapping. More specifically, her nutty cult leader grandfather who is ready to kill her birth mother for giving the girl up for adoption in the first place. Lori, Danny and Steve head to the cult to find her before it's too late and have to go in on horses. I really just appreciate these scenes of Steve on a horse still in his fancy shirt. Thank you writers. Thank you. They save the day yay!

The 5-0 taskforce may have gained a new member but will shortly be down two. Kono's court ruling has arrived and it isn't good news. It's not long before the news is reporting that Kono has been stripped of her badge and is no longer a member of any taskforce. Poor Kono. Jenna is also leaving. Not because of her suspicious activity with Wo Fat but because she has heard her fiance may still be alive. Is that why she was working with Wo Fat?
