Hawaii Five-0 - Malama Ka Aina - Recap

When gang violence escalates to a new level and erupts at a football game, the team tries to stop the gunmen before anyone else is killed. They go to work to try and figure out the motive of the gang members but things take a turn when Chin recognizes one of the guys. It turns out they're cousins with a history of bad blood between them. Chin was known to be a dirty cop before he got his badge back and his cousin never forgave him for it. His cousin is undercover trying to take down the same gangs so he and Chin find themselves working together once again.

Steve and Danno's investigation is somewhat hindered when Danno receives news that the visitation he has with his daughter may be taken away. You would think he would be the one to take his anger out on some suspects but at the moment, it's still Steve abusing his power. Anyone else getting kind of tired of that? I know the governor gave them a free pass and everything and I know it's funny to watch sometimes, but sheesh. I would sue if i was thrown into a shark infested body of water.

The team goes undercover at a casino to bring down the Jersey crime boss responsible for the gambling ring causing all the problems. It's not long before they're caught and Chin's cousin is face to face with a gun. Chin saves him at the last minute during a stressful gunfight and their relationship reaches a new understanding.
