Hawaii Five-0 - Ma'ema'e - Recap

The team investigates the murder of a volleyball coach that may have been having an affair with an underage player. He is having an affair but with the wife of a man who owes money to the corrupt cops Kono is involved with. The husband is killed and Chin is shocked when they open fire on the killer and his getaway driver is Kono.

Steve is pissed that Chin kept this from him for so long and doesn't think they'll be able to protect her anymore. Steve orders them all to bring her in for questioning but she refuses to talk. The IA agent from a couple episodes back walks in and demands that Kono come with him. Steve refuses and he tells him that Kono has been working for him all along. She's undercover investigating the corrupt cops. Steve is angry because he and Chin can tell this guy is just using Kono and deliberately putting her in danger by blackmailing her with their well being and her badge.

They don't want her to go back in but she wants to save the innocent woman they plan on going after next. They want the money her husband stole from them and together with Kono, they go to the bank to get it. Steve and co are planted outside waiting for signs of gunfire and it's not long before someone in the bank notices something is going on. Kono is shot when everything hits the fan and Frank opens fire at everyone outside. The IA gets what he wants and shoots him down. Kono is alright and it was just an arm wound. Does this mean she'll get her badge back?
