Hawaii Five-0 - Ke Kinohi - Recap

The season wastes no time in getting back into action. Steve is enjoying his beauty sleep when he is rudely interrupted by some thugs breaking into his home. The thieves taze him and steal his father's tool box, complete with all the evidence on his mother's murder. Steve realizes immediately that his sister is in danger and goes to check on her. He sees a bloody tooth on her floor when they discover that she's been kidnapped. Holy hell. That tooth was huge. That could not have been pleasant coming out. Yikes.

Mary was just as curious as Steve in investigating the clues their dad left behind. Somehow, Mary still has her cell phone while she's locked inside a trunk and calls Steve. She's able to give enough clues about her location for Steve to get himself a helicopter. He hauls ass to save her and kills the drivers. He gets his sister, but no toolbox. Steve and Co. track down the other guy responsible for her kidnapping. Good news, it wasn't Mary that lost that tooth.

While tracking down Toothy, Steve hops on a sports motorcycle and rides it through a door. LOL that was hilarious. He went up the stairs and everything like it was nothing. Steve is able to uncover that it was his father that was the intended victim of the car bomb that killed his mother. He tracks down the man he thinks is behind it all. He's a majorly powerful man that is apparently single handedly funding Hawaii's economy. Steve gets a surprise when the governor shows up for a lunchdate with the guy. She warns him that going after someone so powerful will make it tough for her to protect him.

That's not going to stop Steve. He sets to work tracking down Hiro's brother but is thwarted by the same gunmen who kidnapped his sister. He kills one of them and is more determined than ever in catching the men behind it all. Fortunately, Hiro slips up and leaves his prints all over the tool box when Kono finds it in a dumpster. They arrest him for kidnapping and Steve lets his brother know that he's next. Wo Fat is just chillin' in the background. Steve won't get the chance to avenge his mother when Hiro's brother dies in a "car accident." How convenient.
