Harry Potter Sets Midnight Box Office Record

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 grossed $43.5 million at the midnight box office, easily beating the previous record-holder Twilight Saga: Eclipse which earned $30 million at midnight.

This is such great news! And the weekend isn't in full swing yet.

The final Harry Potter film has already grossed $126 million worldwide as it opened on Wednesday in other countries.

I just got back from watching the film a couple of hours ago and it was really good. It brought a tear to my eye when I realized it all ends.

Harry Potter terms like 'Neville Longbottom', 'Albus Severus Potter', 'Avada Kedavra' and even 'Mrs Weasley' have been trending all day on Twitter.

Last night, the lines to the movie reached all the way to the front of my apartment building!
